Description
The Tetsubin, of Japanese origin, is the perfect vessel for brewing tea and a prestigious work of art thanks to its elaborate creation process. Made through artisanal casting, the production of these Japanese teapots involves molds and consists of between 64 and 68 steps, most of which are done manually. In Japan, "Nami" means sea waves, a common term in Japanese culture that evokes images of fluidity, movement, and the beauty of the sea. This is represented in the top design of the teapot, where the lines simulate sea waves. This cast iron teapot is manufactured in Morioka, Japan by the Iwachu family company.
