Description
The Tetsubin, of Japanese origin, is the perfect vessel for brewing tea and a prestigious work of art thanks to its elaborate creation process. Made through artisanal casting, the production of these Japanese teapots involves molds and consists of between 64 and 68 steps, most of which are done manually. In Japan, "Kiku" means chrysanthemum flower, a design seen on the top of the teapot where vertical lines represent the many petals of this elegant flower, the emblem of Japan's imperial family. This cast iron teapot is manufactured in Morioka, Japan by the Iwachu family company.
