In Japanese, Saku means “to bloom”, evoking the moment when nature awakens and reveals all its beauty. The name conveys delicacy, renewal and the serene harmony of the Japanese landscape in full bloom. Materials such as quartz and feldspar are mixed with the clay during production, resulting in a stronger, more detailed and thinner piece.
