Organic Korea Joonjak Green Tea

Green tea made according to traditional Korean production techniques, the result of which reminds of the Japanese way of tea processing, both in colour and taste. The characteristic olive green colour of the tender, finely rolled leaves of this tea is obtained after a process of steam scalding and subsequent roasting. This process and the quality of the tea make it one of the most prized teas in the world, along with Japanese green teas. The rich and fertile volcanic soil, the quality of the water, the sea breeze and the optimal climatic conditions combine to create a biodiversity that allows the development of superior qualities of tea, such as Joonjak. The culture of care, attention to detail and handcrafting typical of Korean culture creates a product unique and extraordinary. This tea is grown organically in the Seogwang garden on Jeju Island in the south of South Korea. Its pleasant and delicate taste is refreshing, vegetal and floral, with a nutty taste on the finish. A second infusion can be enjoyed by brewing at 75°C and 2 minutes.
