Chai Pumpkin

Chai Pumpkin

Today we share the recipe of our Chai Pumpkin, a very tasty Chai Latte drink made with roasted pumpkin puree and a very special ingredient: the irresistible Red Tea Pu Erh Chai

This recipe has it all: the creaminess of milk, the sweetness of pumpkin, the intensity of Chai spices (and their ayurvedic properties) and the health benefits of Red Tea Pu Erh, well known for its digestive and cleansing properties.

A perfect mix to relish and to look after ourselves at the same time!

The health benefits of Chai spices

Chai spices (mainly ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves) are some of the medicinal plants used in ayurvedic medicine.

Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic system of medicine in India and was developed over 3,000 years ago.

Ayurveda (the Science of Life in Sanskrit, from Aiur, life, and Veda, knowledge) “diagnoses” a lack of balance in the body or mind, which produces illness or other symptoms.

With such practices as yoga, meditation, massage or the use of plants and natural remedies, Ayurveda aims to restore the balance and reach harmony of mind and body.

Stress, poor blood circulation, natural detox … there is a combination of plants, herbs and spices for every affection.

Chai spices in particular help increase vitality, boost the immune system and prevent colds, stimulate metabolism, protect the cardiovascular system and promote digestive health.

Combined with Pu Erh Tea (the detox tea “par excellence”), our flavourful Pu Erh Chai blend is the perfect option to take care of ourselves.
