Hot Christmas drinks to keep out the cold

The cold and rainy weather keeps us stuck to the sofa in winter snuggling under a blanket, and always with a hot drink in our hands to combat the low temperatures.

At Tea Shop, we have teas to help you with this, and with flavours you never thought possible: Turrón, Roscón de Reyes, Apple Tarte Tatin, and more.

That's why today we'd like to set out a list of hot drinks for you to enjoy during the cold months and, above all, at Christmas. Ideal to enjoy after dinner and / or at any time of the day!

CHRISTMAS TEAS – HOT AND DELICIOUS

We want you to never be without a hot drink on cold days, which is why we’ve made a list of teas, herbal teas and Rooibos to help you enjoy the best of the best at different times of the day and night. And you’re going to fall in love with their flavours (we promise!):

Get that extra boost of energy you need with Black Christmas Tea: black tea with orange, almond, cinnamon, apple, clove and cornflower petals.

Purify your body with the delectable and crunchy Choco Turrón Red Tea: an irresistible combination of chocolate and puffed rice. Or why not try the Christmas Red Tea, with a warm and intense flavour featuring almond, orange, cinnamon, and more (check out this mulled wine recipe, perfect for after-dinner drinks).

Want to aid digestion and stay hydrated? Try our Magic Kingdom Green Tea, with candied fruit and aniseed, and a base of Green Tea and Oolong Tea – its flavour is inspired by the traditional roscón de reyes. Discover our recipe for enjoying dates in your cup of tea.

For any time of the day you cannot miss this variety without theine: the mineral and vitamin expression of Christmas: Christmas Tea Rooibos and Rooibos Marron Glacé, with the creamy taste of glazed chestnut (fall in love with this sweet dessert!). And so is our Sweet Turrón herbal tea, reminiscent of almond turrón.

We can’t forget the quintessential beauty tea either, Snow Christmas white tea, a tea with very little caffeine that you can enjoy almost all day long. And don't miss this recipe for tea-soaked prunes.

PAIRINGS FOR HOT DRINKS:

Once you’ve filled your favourite cup with a hot drink, it’s time to find something sweet to go with it:

Toffee Top & Tea: Dutch biscuits filled with caramel and spices. Put 1 on top of your hot drink to warm it up... and then eat it – it's delicious!

Bonbons and chocolate: for the sweet-toothed amongst us. A piece of chocolate or bonbon to enjoy at our favourite moment of the day: tea time.

Biscuits: delicious traditional biscuits made with butter, cinnamon, ginger...

Jams: ginger, apple and cinnamon jams to spice up your breakfast!

Honey or Agave Syrup to enhance and sweeten your hot drink.

Don't wait any longer to try these delicious Christmas teas and enjoy a hot and healthy drink together with our delicious pairing selections. Yum!
